does Battlestar and Star wars count? technically the characters are from different planets, let alone countries, so why would they have the normal american accent?

i agree on the point he made about everything being sequels these days, i was starting to get irritated with hollywood too basically being either comic book films, or sequels or yadda yadda ripoff material.

i know i'll end up watching the comic book ripoffs and such but i'd like to see something new to interest me, which is why i was so giddy to see wall-e :D yeah thats right! and i fucking LOVED IT!

i think most horror films have to be quaruntined really, there is almost always a certain amount of being trapped in an area that horror films need. all the classic horror films have some quaruntine, alien films, the thing, night/dawn/day of the dead.

simply not being able to excape the horror for long makes it scarier.

back to the subject at hand, if they did another batman it would suffer the previous fate of spiderman. DK goes so far to have two awesome villains who fit well into the gritty and semi-realistic version of batman that Nolan has created.

i came out of the cinema with my friends and all of us couldn't think of a villain who could be close enough to reality to fit into a third film. closest we got was either the riddler, which would be too similar to the manic genius of this joker anyway, or penguin, whom is feasible enough to exist himself, his methods of villainy linked to penguins would just be too silly.

i suppose you could say portal is a puzzle game of sorts, but not quite the point and click style. maybe something like mass effect, all the interaction and puzzle solving minus the gun play. chuck some good humour in for good mesure and i'd be sold

although i did kinda like the mist, its one of those films i would like to know more (where did they come from..why.. etc) but wouldn't mind if i never heard from it again.

i do hope this game is good considering the major hype its getting but i'm not holding my breath, i'm expecting sub-par gameplay and action. it seems they took "the thing" (game) and put it in space
