"We've had FIOS tv since about June, and while we do have the occassional glitch with skipping forward or backward, I don't think the DVR has ever outright "crashed" on us (though it does lag pretty bad on occasion). I just hope with this upgrade, they fix some of the Series Recording options (like the one to only record new episodes- ours records everything)."
