he's referring to the constant and unnecessary down and up-shifts that keep jarring the engine to different rpms, granted the computer probably blips the throttle on downshifts but regardless that can't be good for the clutch
Well considering that the traction control on modern BMW's can apply the brakes at any wheel if it finds it necessary to aid traction perhaps the right front brake was applied... or at least partially. Also the steering in his 3 series (and basically all newer BMW's sold in the US) all have active steering that changes the hydraulic assist based on certain conditions. I'm not certain but perhaps the traction control also influences that? My point being... modern BMW's have so much that can go wrong in them so don't be so hasty in dismissing this guys case.
At about 30 seconds into the video look at the seam between the fender and bumper...I'm not sure if that's just more of that great Mercedes build quality we have come to know and love over the past decade or the cheap ass shop in the Middle East that painted this thing....
Well the only logical winner is the X3 because it is most truck-like and the only one that is made in North America at BMW Spartanburg Plant. I still think the award should be going to an actual North American truck though...
Watching that video seriously makes me loose hope in humanity... somebody beat the shit outta that kid and teach him some manners (worked for us as kids at least...)
anyone who listens to anything car related from consumer reports is a moron... they are a bunch of boring environmentalist hippies who only car about a car getting a person from A to B in the cheapest and most efficient way possible.. with little regard for looks, luxury, or that other thing... what is it called... o right FUN.
Actually this totally makes sense, the supercar should park the closest because it gets the worst economy, the hybrid should be the one driving all the way to the back of the lot cause its the one that gets 343847 mpg or whatever, so this driver is simply saving the environment... its almost like hes driving a hybrid!
