"Sorry to be an ass, but if you can't work around your IT department requiring a specific OS on you then you need to read some more books on technology and operating systems. I suggest starting with a book on LDAP. My laptop loads 3 different OS along with VMWare workstation to load OS virtual machines for other "stuff". Get to reading lazies."
