This thing would be a great alternative to prosthetics or a wheelchair. You could go over any terrain. Need to be quieter.

Hey vagrant, are you Johnny or Scott? Sigmund was awesome although H.R. Puff'nstuff was better for tripping.

barrygeorge001 commented on Which Mobile Carrier Sucks the Most? Ive had all the major carriers within the past 4 years and by far the worst for coverage and customer support has to be Srint/Nextel. And the phones they offer suck by comparison. I am currently with ATT which for the most part has been ok with few dropped calls and good customer support. The onlygripe is that for billing they actually have office hours and are closed sometimes. There is no service fee for the iPhone, Im on one with a standard plan with data and sms added and dont pay any fees other than those, so sdomeone is misinformed. Still hate them all, though att is going to starbucks now!

barrygeorge001 commented on iPhone 16GB and iPod Touch 32GB Available @jaydez: For me and many business users, it's the lack of using as a modem that is a stumbling block. I guess the 3G model will see it enabled.

Not true. Jailbreak it and you can use as a modem. Anyway the speed without 3g is still decent. And for all of you who hate apples policies about fixing things, Ive broken 3 iphones due to my own roughness and gotten replacements on all without an problems. You just have to find the right person at the genius bar. I'm no fanboy but there's alot of haters here.

barrygeorge001 commented on iPhone 1.1.3 Jailbreak Has Issues With GPS, Official SDK? I did the full jailbreak with no problems at all. Everything is working great and there are fixes if you have any problems in installer if you add the right sources. Even for the edge settings for other carrierss.

barrygeorge001 commented on Inventec UMPCs Bring Curvaceous Contours to Mobile Computing i still prefer the sony VAIO® UX Series. Not as pretty but has 3G and can be used as a cell phone with some modding. Not that I don't appreciate the design but probably wont have the hard keyboard, tactile feedback is a nice thing to have. I thib=nk sony should redesign the UX and you'd have the perfect UMPC.

barrygeorge001 commented on Are Apple Stores a Retail Utopia? im a mac fan and have had nothing but trouble with the "genius" bar. i know more than any of them and they just get more snotty when they realize that you know more than them. By the way, although Im a fan, I use a PC as my daily workhorse.

barrygeorge001 commented on iPod Touch Dissected, Analyzed my levis were $185. They are levis premium and the fit is worth the extra cost. Although I think the manufacturing cost is about the same.

barrygeorge001 commented on iPhone Apps Back With A Single Click (Yes, This is the Moment We've Been Waiting For) Its supposed to crash after you hit the link. After the crash your bsd is openned up to allow installs. Olt of the apps dont work but most still do. Ive had to do a hard restart to get some to work but then they do.

barrygeorge001 commented on iPhone Apps Back With A Single Click (Yes, This is the Moment We've Been Waiting For) Works great. Has been out in beta since 2 weeks ago. I've got all of my 1.02 apps back with a few exceptions that dont work in 1.11. Alot of themes dont work but in general everything most people need works great. It took me about 10 min total.
