Just watched a UK thriller/horror movie called "Panic Button" and its premise is all about the violation of privacy issues on the internet. It really is staggering how much information is truly being sucked up into the cloud and one can only imagine how each of us is being digitally recreated in some alternate reality.
Correction: The names of *Android-based* phones and tablets are getting out of control. At least the iPhone goes in almost numerical increments.

Sensation, Thunderbolt, Epic, Lightning, Incredible, Fire, Vortex, Astound... all these stupid names they conjure up to try to sound tremendously awesome or bigger than life, when in fact, most of them are already prepping for their end-of-life cycle as soon as they hit the shelves.

Awesome! Please find the other 11 readers in your area and confer with them if they agree with this article.
And, all we need now is an entire branch of the military complain in a few short months that their newfangled devices aren't updateable to ICS.
I said the same thing until I watched "The Devil's Advocate" starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves.
May I present the interpretation of "212" by RapGenius.com: [rapgenius.com]

I have no problem reiterating my thought that African American people have incredibly sensuous lips. This video gives a nice closeup of that, which also happens to belong to a very good looker.

That, plus her talent is something fierce. Bought the single on iTunes and I'm enjoying it on the go

Wow, my brain was fried more than I thought today. Red for RIGHT. Doh.
I remember not too long ago that RCA cables were white for left and red for white. A little color indicator, either on the wire or on the speaker grill itself would save a lot of time and money, in my opinion.
Maybe I'm in the minority again, but I keep my devices in tip-top condition for resale value. We're bound to two-year contracts, but there's a significant update each year that warrants my desire to upgrade earlier. Having it protected from day one helps a great deal. Others I know have exercised their warranty options to get a refurbished replacement that looks just as good as new right before reselling it, too.
For those who can't get it working, have you watch the convoluted video on how it's done?
So glad iTether appeared on the App Store, if only for a fleeting moment. This ad-hoc setup a la NetShare is a pain to set up, to which it then only works for most apps if you install Proxifier or some other utility to route apps that don't have a proxy configuration setting. iTether had its own app on the Mac/Windows side that literally acted like a new network connection.

I used to jump at the chance of these apps, but if you're an iOS dev, you can build and deploy your own copy of iProxy from GitHub and it does the same as these proxy tethering apps.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I would pay an additional markup for Apple to manufacture and assemble their products in the USA. 1. You'd create jobs in the US, and 2. Conditions found in China would be nowhere as bad in comparison, since we'd be so close to better investigate and fix issues before or as they arise.
I wonder if Apple will allow the use of both cameras simultaneously. Either that or a jailbreak. Off topic, can anyone come up with a practical use of using both, besides the example above? Maybe in a game?
Personally, HTC and Samsung should keep spamming the market with these slipshod Android and Windows Phone variants of themselves. They're obviously helping potential customers who are more than confused and end up choosing Apple with their simplified and uniformed configurations.

I've said this for years. It's no wonder that OS and firmware updates are abandoned so quickly. It's just too much post-product support that a company is willing to handle. They spread themselves so thin, but it should be obvious that these efforts are only for a short-term cash grab.'

(Update, thanks qbrad)

One would think that the most unique feature of the car (and the title of the article) would actually SHOW the feature in action. Almost 10 minutes of fat people getting in and out, talking, sitting in the car, and that annoying music makes me wish the article just had photos.
Hardly trolling. I had the first generation Windows Phones in hand and they were very much half-baked, software and hardware-wise. Just like the Bold 9900, their devices should have been out two years ago and would have been decent competition in a very competitive mobile device market.
Your title is misleading, making the reader assume the first Windows Phones were great. That's like saying we're looking forward to reading the next great propositions in SOPA.
He really didn't list the positives and negatives of either argument in this article. He charges the idea of buying more cheaper batteries but at the cost of the environment? Shocking.
Maybe I've been spoiled by the Serkis motion-capture / Rise of the Planet of the Apes clip, but watching a horse move around without seeing the final cut side by side or afterwards is a little unrewarding.
I'm sure Scott Forstall thinks this case is just blow-away.
