"Personally, I don't see the point.
When I used to work as a Systems Engineer for a tech company, and spent the majority of my time at other companies, my office was essentially what would fit in a mid-sized laptop bag.
Considering the current job climate, wouldn't most employees be better off adopting a similar "nomadic" mindset, and only keeping stuff at their office/cube that could be packed up on very short notice?
Not to mention that almost all of the companies I used to do consulting work for had policies in place regarding office/cubicle decor that would prohibit stuff like this in the first place..."
