If the device generates its own light, you can still see colors at any depth.

Be sure to add a few thousand dollars to the cost of this thing for a trip to the chamber after using unproven algorithms. :)

I've seen tiger sharks take cameras away from Jim numerous times; it is really nothing even close to an attack, and using the word, "attack" is irresponsible.

The exception is the last scene, which shows a tiger shark coming in on bait at the surface. This is very different than the controlled interaction below the surface.
