Have to take the side of PrivateJoker. Having interacted with autistic kids myself, they definitely would fall into that category.
Having said that,they do possess abilities that neither you or I could even imagine. I know a girl, about 7 or 8 yrs. old - I'm blanking on that - who has memorized the phone book and can recite phone numbers based on names read from it... But thinks biting is an accepted form of communication. Shes Retarded. She doesn't know how to communicate.
It's the internet, not having to be "PC" is a hallmark that I take advantage of on a regular basis. Very glad to see privatejoker knows this.

As far as the dock goes... I rarely minimize. Why do that when I can throw the app on some other desktop. You only need to know one shortcut to launch any program, system wide... CMD+Space

I am what you would consider a power user so let me point out a few things that I am surprised you haven't yet noticed. Mac is all about multitasking and the operating system is setup in such a way as to facilitate that. Without adding a whole lot of "extra" crap, Window is not. If we're talking Leopard, and I hope we are, finding what you are looking for is more straight-forward than Windows with CLEARER icons and navigation. Being able to look inside files without opening them? As a graphic designer, it's a lifesaver because I don't care what you're running... Ps, Il, Id, Dw all take FOREVER to load and if all I want to do is send something as an attachment why should I have to launch its app?!

Let's also mention the uptime. I came from using a Windows computer about a year ago, and I have used Windows for upwards of 10 years so I am fully familiar with Windows (switched because Vista scared me). I reboot my Mac at most once a month, I rebooted my Windows computer multiple times per day! I don't even bother actually turning my Mac off.

Security is another great point. Mac is secure without nagging. Something Microsoft has been scrambling to get right and has only made it worse.

Here's a few more things Mac gets right where Windows fails:

- OS wide shortcut keys (i.e. cmd+q ALWAYS quits an app, there's lots of those and they ROCK)

- Specific user accounts

- AUTHENTICATION

- Simple wifi connectivity (getting on wifi with xp is stupidly difficult)

- No BSOD or gpf (I once saw Tiger "unexpectedly quit" but that was ONCE. Leopard has never kicked the bucket)

- apps are NOT installed into the same place as the OS and have no effect on the OS. A crashed app on mac RARELY causes the OS to get hosed

- Apps are far less messy than they are with Windows (no registry)

- Forced quit works on a mac the first time. Unresponsive apps are termed appropriately.

oooh that's a hard one... I can't imagine life without Leopard. It's pretty dang awesome. I don't know if it will be worth moving to snow leopard if it costs. I am thoroughly happy with the beauty that is Leopard.

WTF?! 7,000 dollars? and for that you get... 45mpg instead of 36mpg? Not to mention those batteries wear out, losing their ability to hold a charge. The batteries make the car heavy and slow.

The only thing that will tear me away from my roomy, speedy, solid 2.5i Subaru Legacy (30mpg) will be an all-electric car.
