Personally I have bought some of my favorite things thanks to Gizmodo. Is it so shameful to promote interesting and enjoyable products? I appreciate everything Gizmodo does and I thank them, and congratulate them for having such a good time doing it! Why bitch about someone else's success, especially if you are here reading it all...no comprende...plus I also see a whole lot of android posts, which I personally find very useful, plus just an endless variety of subjects and products..never really felt there was an apple bias, but hey, maybe i'm a fool...
From what I can see the design has a lot to do with limiting manufacturing costs. That whole outer casing (the box part) seems to be made from a single folded sheet of metal. You cut the holes where you need them, and then fold it; done! Then all you need to do is stick the parts inside. Simple process.
I love the way they try to explain "featured" and the reason for choosing this term...come on, do they really think we are that dumb at this point? Sponsored is clearly understood as being an advert, and they do not want that, because it has a negative connotation, and leads to less clicks, which reduces the effectiveness of the advert, which is completely against the whole point of advertising. Let's be honest here people, we are all big kids now...
Seriously...I just spent 10 days in Costa Rica, and apparently with a blindfold on, because we averaged 100km/day of travel to get in as much as possible, and the whole country just seems laid back and pleasant...
Lol! That might not be such a good idea...though they look cuddly, being in a cave with them may not just get you a bear hug...
Your hip to my jive! ;)
Too bad JFK didn't have one of these...

You must try them to understand this statement. They are a whole other world of bagel, and somehow just seem more authentic. In Montreal if you want a NY style bagel, you go to Tim Horton's...sad but true.
This is absolutely true, printer ink is the most ridiculously priced item on the market. A total scam, so they can sell $40 printers and rip you off to keep it working, not to mention when you forget to use it for a while and your precious ink dries up...
@sirnicolai: it shows the shear bands described in the 9th paragraph
@takeshi: Go to your nearest playground, hop on a swing, and start swaying...it's healthy! :)
This just made my day!...Sandwich bluetooth...too good.
@Darkensee: Somehow in my mind, the driving force behind that evolution is God. And I only capitalize G because of my humility towards such a powerful force.
Also helps you find the side without the glue.
These pictures make me believe in God.
OK here is the part that stands out for me in your article: "Arsenic is an element poisonous to every other living creature in the planet"...does this not scare anyone? Aren't bacteria known for their ability to reproduce extremely fast? Let's say this bacteria gets out of control, infesting all our food and water supply...ummm would you like a little poison with that?
