"I've lived in Seoul for 2 & a half year.
Just walking on streets is an attraction of its own, especially at night, with all the neon lights.
I think you should go to Namdaemun market, Dongdaemun, Myeong-dong, walk along the Cheonggyecheon stream.
You should visit Jongmyo shrine for the culural part.
For the geek part, you can't miss Yongsan Eletronic market, Elec Land is not the most impressive, try the long and narrow buildings with the bridge linking both parts.
And you should take a local bus (green or blue), it's defenitely a nice ride, and don't forget to hang to something.
You can also go to the COEX mall.
In the evening, you could catch a show like Nanta.
There's an official site on Seoul for tourists here : [english.visitseoul.net]
Have a nice trip."
