Sorry, frigg, for making such a mess at the end of the hamster story. I was just trying to be Mr. Helpful with the photo, turned out to be Mr. Asshat instead, not intended. I saw that at least one other person had trouble posting a photo today, so possibly a server issue? I alerted Giz, just in case.
BTW, is trying to (be a know-it-all and) help someone in a predicament and then getting into the exact same predicament yourself a corollary of Frigg's Law?

The Blackberry 9000 (HAL 9000, anyone?) is such a cooler name than the "Bold." If it's ditching 9000, and with that leather back and all, I'm thinking "Blackberry (b)Old, pronounced be-old.

Thank God I'm Amish (Mennonite, actually), and therefore able to resist any Popely pressures to give up my beloved iPhone.

@Atsumi:"Sure, I'd spend $500 to ride in a giant penis."
Never has a preposition been quite so discouraging.

frigg commented on Zeppelins Return to US, Slightly Less Flammable Now, at 2:17 PM on May 11
Apparently, there's some interest in using Zeppelins for mapping and live reconnaissance by strapping extremely high resolution cameras under their bellies and letting them float around like giant eyes in the sky.

Maybe the Turing Test should be changed from the inability of a human to distinguish between a conversation with a machine and a conversation with a human, to the ability of a human to feel crummy when one machine slaughters another.

Oddly and thankfully, my ex-cat preferred chewing up my cheapo cables rather than the good stuff (good stuff meaning Canare, not Monster or Pear /maintains some dignity).
Also, my cat used to run across my mixing board, turning on and off phantom power, eq, and otherwise altering my musical landscapes with her sneaky little paws.

The real scandal is the Digidesign Pro Control at the end of the vid, meaning he uses ProTools NOT Apple Logic to record his musics on.

frigg commented on Charred Hard Drive from Space Shuttle Columbia Recovered (Best Data Rescue Ever?), at 12:29 PM on May 8
@Wison: "Why don't they make the shuttle out of the same material they make the drive?"
Interestingly, hard drives and space flight are almost exactly the same age, both around 50 (Sputnick 1= 1957; IBM 350 = 1956).
But in 50 years of space flight, humans launched only around 5000 objects into orbit.
