Where did I say that every single person was grieving? My point was simple, most people love their countries. They even have a word for that! Is NK a nice place? No, almost certainly not. My comments were about grief, propaganda and the limits of knowledge.
Most people love their country and their leaders. Much of what we think we know about NK is pure propaganda and nonsense, like this article that ridicules the apparently genuine grief of millions of people.

Some former garage employee threatened to ban me after I called him an "asshole" for taking my star. But I still have an account. I guess he was too stupid to find the bannhammer. And no, they want it all to be clean and wonderful in what Nick Denton called the "comment ghetto".
I lost my star for claiming that some religious ritual they posted about was "crazy" and then having the nerve not to back off on that. Oh well.
