"Shouldn't this be weighted by market share? I have had a Samsung, a Conner, a couple of Western Digital, a Seagate and an IBM/Hitachi die on me. However, I have owned dozens of Western Digital drives, probably as many as all the others combined. I think you are hosed no matter who you go with."
