"They have to offer them -- with a laptop, if you do not offer what consumers want, you lose 100% of the sale. With home electronics, they can sell the TV, and Joe SixPack can buy a BD player from another vendor. With more and more laptops offering 1900x1200 displays, you'd be silly NOT to get an HD-capable player... Toshiba has no choice if they want to sell lappies."
