The reason for comparably low iPod sales in Europe isn't the non-removable battery, it's the high price (80US-$ more for an iPod classic than in the U.S.).

If the consumer wants PMPs with removable batteries so bad, why is it that the market share for iPods in the U.S. is above 70 percent?
