I've been using TVShowFavs for android for a while now, I have to say if you buy the key, it has much more functionality out of it, albeit it's a bit clumsy to navigate but they are steadily improving it.
@Pringle - I have Media Center PC in the living room wired to the router, my laptop in my room (my main computer/ wireless) and a netbook i take back and forth to college. I really just wanted a way to keep my music and pictures (docs are already synced to each computer via dropbox) synced to each computer for backup sake and ease of use (streaming over my home network can be glitchy at times, usually right in the middle of a party). Hopefully that answered your questions.
is there a program that will sync/backup my music, pictures and docs to another computer on my network without encrypting it and without having to go into the cloud? (everything is Win 7)
I want it to all stay local, so that I only have to put music on one computer and it will sync to my other computers automatically, so I can use it on the other computer too.

Johnny thanks for the suggestion but thats not really what I'm looking for, I want my music to be on each computer's hard drive and synced with the other computers (for convenience and to back up the music, docs, pictures on the other computer).
So for instance when I add a new album to my main computer it will automatically copy over the new album to my media center and my netbook, without ever going into the cloud. I want it to all happen on my local network, and I want it to happen without me having to go and copy the album to the other coputers. My home network isn't the most reliable and when I try to stream music across the house it ends up in buffering hell.
Anyone know a good program similar to Dropbox to sync my Music, Picture, My Docs folders across multiple PCs (all Win 7) all on the same local network. I love Dropbox but I like free stuff more!
How do I setup up a synced music collection over my home WiFi? I have 3 computers all Windows 7 (an HTPC, Laptop used as a desktop, and a Netbook for college) I would like some way to keep my ~55 GB of music synced across them all when I'm on my home network. I'd like it too be free (Dropbox would be easiest but cash is tight these days). Any suggestions? #howto
I'm not sure if this has already been covered or not so here it goes.
I noticed today on the Youtube page that in the top left side of the page right next to the name of the video you are watching there is a light switch that will turn the background of the webpage black. It's quite nice when viewing video's to not have to stare at a white screen. More websites should adopt this color scheme...cough.....lifehacker....cough. #tips
ah such old news, Giz I'm disappointed, I was there when this happened. Like other readers have said it's been on YouTube since a few days if not hours after it happened.
to clarify a few things for those of you not familiar with with how this particular robot works let me just state a few things. (This is all first hand knowledge from being in the robot operators shoes.) There are several cameras on this robot, one above the gripper, the one on the mast and one at the front and rear at the base of the vehicle. From what I saw the operator thought the bag was strong enough to grab and hold the grenade itself. When the grenade fell out of the hole in the bag, it was below the gripper (not visible from the camera on TOP of the gripper hand) this is why the robot operator didn't realize that the grenade had fallen out. Yes I know I said that there was a camera at the front of the robot but it's in between the front 2 tracks and the grenade fell outside of the front tracks. Driving that robot is particularly difficult because it has so many controls to manipulate. It doesn't move very quickly because of the number of controls and the battery limitations. Another thing to think about is that the robot is not wireless, in this setup. There is a fiber optic line that is coming out the back that the operator has to keep an eye on, and make sure to not run over. The second robot is not able to reach the height of the "tank" that the robot is putting the grenade in, thus the reason for not using that one in the first place.
Some other comments have said that there should be a spotter for the robot or he should have used another robot to be the spotter. When dealing with explosive devices you don't want a single human being in the area at all costs, thus the robot. And using 2 robots at once seems like a good idea unless on the off change that the thing did explode then you are out 2 robots because you used your spare just to make sure everything was alright in the first place. They did everything safely and effectively, and no one was injured. If you had an entire city looking at you while you did your job, I'm sure they would also be able to nit pick about every little thing you did wrong too. Lets look at it from the big picture folks, no one was hurt, it's a good day.
I don't have the option yet either, I'm guessing it will show up in the next day or so. BUT, if you type in https:// before facebook.com it works fine except chat gets disabled
