The lawyer calls Chase, and asks those assclowns where to send the bill. If they don't start paying for expenses immediately, the lawyer arranges a loan to sort out the immediate damage ... and all loan expenses will be added to the damages sought in the lawsuit.

]]>
<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Does Feminism Carry A Gun?]]> Since the question was asked, I'll answer it.

I carry a pistol for the same reason people wear seatbelts when they drive. I have had six attempts at violence on my person during my lifetime. All six were completely shut down by merely displaying my firearm.

States in the US with no firearm restrictions are far less violent for good reason. Criminals there are sneak thieves, and avoid confrontations like the plague.

Victim-disarmament states are free-fire zones for criminals ... little chance of facing an armed victim, so confrontations are sought out.

As for gun = penis, the simile says more about the persons making it than it does about gun owners ... and besides, if I could project deadly force at 100 yards with my penis, I wouldn't need a pistol.

<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Wal-Mart Reports You To The Police For Not Allowing Them To Check Your Receipt]]> Basically ... if a greeter gets stupid, ask if you are being detained. If the greeter fucks up and says yes, then demand she call the police. If she doesn't, call them yourself ... you want a police report to be generated if a bad citizen detention/arrest takes place.

]]>
<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Wal-Mart Reports You To The Police For Not Allowing Them To Check Your Receipt]]> @Invalid_User_Name: Merchants have a right to detain if they see a shoplift take place.

If they do not see a shoplift take lace, and erroneously detain an individual, that individual can sue for false arrest ... good for a minimum $50k settlement in most cases.

the reason for this right to detain is to avoid violence ... the merchant makes the detention, the police are called, and the courts sort it all out.

]]>
<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Madman Kills 7 In Akihabara Gadget District Rampage]]> @OGHowie: Actually, the uneven application of victim-disarmament has made an opportunity to show how it does not work very well at all where tried.

Where such laws exist have generally been the most violent in the US ... I believe this is a primary cause of said violence, rather than simply a response.

Britain has gone completely bonkers, and is even experimenting with knife control ... and now has an epidemic of street violence and occupied home break ins.

As for Japan ... I suspect that, if you start counting murder/suicide family destroyers as murderers, instead of suicides, the violence rate in Japan ain't as rosy as their government would have you think.

]]>
<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Madman Kills 7 In Akihabara Gadget District Rampage]]> @OGHowie: In the past few years we had about a half dozen nutters try to start killing rampages in malls, schools, or churches in the US.

The only two that inflicted more than a few casualties were in victim-disarmament zones ... an Amish grade school, and a campus with strict gun control.

The rest were shut down by armed citizens or off duty cops. The CCW holder who was wounded and made paraplegic in that Tacoma mall shooting is a friend of mine ... the mere fact that he even tried to take on that SKS-armed emo retard was enough to make said emo run away and hide until the police got to him.

If my credit union balance gets low because of an emergency, I transfer money from my credit union letter of credit to cover temporarily.

Basically ... no one has access to my credit union funds ... I decide where they go. The closest to them anyone gets is to one of my credit cards ... and those charges are easy to dispute.

<![CDATA[kbarrett commented on Five-seveN Gun Blows Up In Owner's Hand, Manufacturer Indifferent]]> @xtc46: Incorrect.

If firearms were regulated exactly as much as automobiles, I would be able to buy a machinegun on ebay, have it shipped to me as freight, and use it legally on my own property without ever filling out a government form.

I would be able to carry my machinegun in public if I passed a simple test on local state firearms laws, and demonstrated a little proficiency at the range.

Are you sure you want firearms regulated like automobiles?
