Last year, Gizmodo covered the FASTRA desktop supercomputer [gizmodo.com] , a PC that contained 8 GPUs and outperformed a large cluster. This system had quite some impact: a few months later NVIDIA launched their own "personal supercomputer", modelled after FASTRA. The same research group that developed FASTRA has now made a website available about its successor, the FASTRA II. The new system (a single PC) contains 13 NVIDIA GPUs, four power supplies, and has a peak capacity of 12TFLOPS. Extensive information about the project, as well as a youtube video presenting the work, can be found at [fastra2.ua.ac.be] #tips
