@maythetechbewithyou: convert it to Apple lossless. Since both are lossless formats (obviously) you won't loose any quality. On a PC, you can use Foobar2000, which also can sync any iPod with the right plugin installed (it's called foo_dop). The plugin for handling apple lossless is foo_alac AFAIR. You'll need to do some tinkering to make it work, but it's well worth the hassle in my opinion.

@Ido Vock: 4300 euro? Holy f... I got a bicycle for my 1st communion, worth 100€... And my family wasn't poor or anything... Granted, it was 15 years ago, but still
@aaon: then you prefer no extensions than freedom of choice?
It's like saying that cellphones are worse than landline because they can be stolen.
You don't want extensions? Don't use them.
It's not that hard to turn off extensions in Firefox in a internet cafe. Alas, I think it should be possible to disable extensions globally, for such occasions.
I would say BS, but three of my fingers on my left hand have a bigger angle at the end than the right hand... I suspect the WASD keys which I hammer in practically every game. but when scrolling, I use my spinal bulb, so I don't look like an alien
@madog: Good point. I'm an IT student and I have to fight iPhone hate on a daily basis. But my guess is that if iPhone would be cheaper in my country, at least half of those haters would have one in their pockets by now. The same goes with Macs and every othe Apple product
The dongle should be no bigger than the end of the Apple cable to make me even slightly interested. I mean, how big is a IR diode? I don't think this one needs great deal of additional hardware.
@penguiniator: I second this with all my heart. Maybe I just don't have the attention span, but my 15,4" laptop and a occasionally connected 24" LCD is more than enough...
