Then everyone else started stealing. Check out how the CIA leaked "fake" nuclear weapon plans to China spies in America which they were able to fix because...they were actual nuclear weapon plans with fudged numbers. Or how Russia just straight up lifted plans and schematics from all over the country. Or Pakastan and India...hmm, how did they get it? Check it out.

Guess what. The USA is the only country in the history of this planet to invent the nuclear bomb. Every single other country has either stolen the technology or we gave them the means to reverse engineer the technology. Seriously.
edit: a nuclear bomb and a nuclear reactor are vastly different things. Also, on the topic of reactors, you know how many countries in the world are currently able to produce reactor cores?

Yeah, I'll agree that the law is not justice. Justice comes from somewhere inside of us. The law is written by us as a collective unit, so it's very imperfect, or at least as how I'd view "justice".

The TL;DR version of the past 70 years of atomic physics is that making a nuclear bomb is one of the most difficult things anyone can ever do, and making one that is effective enough to actually explode in the way everything thinks of nukes exploding in is more or less miraculous.

The fact that this is even a discussion that we can have is just...man it just fucking depresses me.
