<![CDATA[oddjobber commented on SLR Concept Is Bold, Even If Flawed]]> I like the idea, as far as rolling goes all you need to do is hold one edge on a belt sander for a few seconds and make a flat spot. in regards to the controls, I think that a series of buttons combined with the rings would be the best option.

The really cool thing about this is you could eliminate the screen on the back entirely. that way you could look through the viewfinder and make all the changes and adjustments that you need with one hand. I don't know about the other Giz photographers; the display screen on my SLR is rarely used by more than one person. and i would trade that for being able to see things in bright sunlight any day!

<![CDATA[oddjobber commented on EP2502 Cellphone Watch: Surprisingly Stylish, and Waterproof]]> @KidDoc: it might be the norm but they still look like idiots.

I want Zac Morris Mortorola phones to come back in vogue. They could put a battery that would last for weeks, a 10 MP camrea with true optical zoom 3"x5" screen, and maybe even one of those little projectors. Now THAT would be a phone!
