"Packed up my '93 del Sol si with as much as I could fit in snacks, clothes, and supplies, and burned a stack of MP3 CDs with all my favorite music and embarked on a solo 2,200 mile journey from White River Junction, Vermont to Houston, Texas three days before Christmas. Made it (with two stops for the night) just in time for Christmas dinner with my dad and sister. One of the defining moments in my life."
