Many hardcore gamers (the 360's major fanbase) refuse to use wi-fi for gaming, so wi-fi isn't important to them. 360 controllers have removable battery packs, so some would consider the ability to recharge without having a wire stretch across your room while you play a value. XBL is by far and away a superior online service to PSN(although PSN is starting to make progress,) so many people consider 12 cents a day for XBL to be a real value. The 360 is also a great Media Center extender, so some people consider the abilty to watch and record live television from their console an added value. Add the cost of a headset and HD cables to your PS3, because the 360 comes with those. My point still stands."
