Oh, I don't like the company's practices, but my high speed internet is zippy as hell.

When a piece of cable (uh that I installed) puked recently the guys that came out actually did a fast and efficient job of locating the problem, even replacing some cable ends for me just to make sure that it was indeed my crummy old hunk of scrap that was screwing everything up.

I would normally LOVE to hate on 'em right with you, but I have to give them credit, at least this time.

I would think whatever passes for a reaction control system on board Galactica would be trying to stabilize the ship as well after such an event.

With the mass of water involved, overloading the RCS could also provide for some drama and potentially interesting visuals.

Hmmm, I seem to recall that lattice bracing being extremely strong and resistant to structural failure, even when damaged.
-at least when used in real-life aircraft.

I'm only just learning about Watchmen so I don't know, but I'm guessing this ship is designed to, and perhaps will take a beating.

Neat, but I simply put a spare laptop DVD ROM/CDR burner combo drive into an 11.00 dollar USB enclosure planning to get the Dell version when it hits.

Plus it's just handy to have around.
