I liked the original article, because when I'm old if I'm still wearing socks instead of flip flops hanging out at the beach then I failed at life. Good job Kat I liked it.
I think what could set this apart from craigslist is the fact that not everyone lives in a community that someone is wanting to trade for/buy the particular item you have. Thats were this could come into play, because someone somewhere wants what you have. For instance, currently I'm in Carlsbad, NM for work and looking at craigslist here is pretty depressing, there is not much on it. If I was wanting to make a trade, for example, lets say I want to trade and HTC Inspire for an EVO, I'm not doing that with craigslist here, but somewhere someone would make that trade. Thats what I believe but I am also biased as this is my idea. #whitenoise
I am in the process of putting together a new site for trading computer hardware and smartphones, something similar to paperbackswap.com. I am just wondering if anyone would use a service like this. I personally have had hardware I wanted to trade and wish I had a service like this. Please let me hear your opinions on this.
