Quarterly != four-yearly
So long as they include a quality screen...
Haven't they been doing just fine ignoring the US market for so many years?
No, even IE8 was very bad. They only started to take things seriously since IE9.
It's part of their effort in making the ToS and privacy statement actually readable.
We might never know what really happened... I remember there were a few Malaysians onboard including a Member of Parliament and several television reporters. They certainly weren't a group of terrorists. I can imagine they were just trying to protect themselves from the unwelcome guests who forcibly boarded their ship and started attacking them. The Israeli security forces must have totally overreacted (or perhaps it's fair to say that's their natural response since they've been trained to kill).
@alont: They killed people with paintguns?! I suppose you're aware that there were civilians killed in that operation.
IIRC the Israeli forces were trying to do that in international waters, and it's not sanctioned by the United Nations as is the case for intercepting North Korean vessels.
You can probably change that in the BIOS setup...
Won't there be astronauts from other countries (such as Russia) up there? The robot will get rid of them first, of course... Lol
But such a traffic jam is caused by people checking out the accident on the other side in the first place... In other words, you're probably contributing to the congestion.
That's interesting... [www.news.cornell.edu]

But I'm Asian and I love (fresh) milk. Lol...
That's because MeeGo is still far from maturity/release. If you've used Maemo perhaps you'll agree that there is a lot of potential with that kind of OS. Many developers have been using the N900 as a testbed for their products/technologies. The most well-known example would be Adobe first showcasing Flash Player 10.1 on the N900.

The problem is with Nokia not taking software updates seriously (which has been the case for so many years). Once they've released the product they tend to just move on, leaving their customers on their own (and if and when they do release updates, those are likely to be plagued with all sorts of problems). Again, the best example is the unavailability of Flash 10.1 on the N900...
The sad thing is they seem to have planned to go with S40 for those devices... If true, it'll necessarily be a downgrade compared to Symbian^1 (S60) used by most current mid-end devices.
You can get iodine from natural food sources as well: [www.nlm.nih.gov]
I whole-heartedly hope they succeed. MeeGo is a much needed alternative which many (including me) have been eagerly waiting for. If Nokia goes exclusively WP7 in their smartphones it's seriously killing off a lot of wonderful possibilities.
Symbian^3 is here to stay as WP7 just isn't fit for the low/mid-low end devices which Nokia sells a lot of. It's inconceivable that Nokia will just give up on the (huge) third world/developing markets.
Haven't been on Gizmodo for some time as my connection was down for the past week. Now that I've finally got to see the new design everyone's complaining about, I have to say it seriously sucks.

There's no need for any kind of explanation. This is just plain bad design. Period.

If they're not gonna change it back, it would be really nice if someone makes a userstyle... Or has this been done already? #whitenoise
It's a really sad thing to hear MeeGo has now been practically abandoned :(
