<![CDATA[Comments from thebobman]]> <![CDATA[Comments from thebobman]]> <![CDATA[thebobman commented on Aston Martin Turns Mom To MILF, Who Knew?]]> I may be mistaken about this, but I'm almost sure that Stifler's Mom drove an Austin Martin in the second American Pie film (possibly in the first & third ones too). Since Stifler's Mom brought "MILF" into the common American lexicon its not too wild of a connection, its just a very weak one. A very, very, very weak one. Ugh, I know DB9s sell themselves but that's still lame advertising.

<![CDATA[thebobman commented on B-2 Stealth Bomber Crashes, 1.2 Billion Dollars Turn to Smoke]]> B2 bombers are pretty much antiquated now; the role they were built for was the long-distance delivery of nuclear weapons under the cover of its stealth technology (which gave it an edge over using an easily detectable ICBM) is no longer a prerogative of the US Airforce. A UAV with modified payload capabilities & extended range fuel-tanks would be capable of filling the role the B2 bomber currently fills; long-distance delivery of conventional ordnance while evading detection. With UAV technology advancing steadily I can't see any real benefit the B2 would have over a remotely-piloted bomber. It'd certainly be a hell of a lot cheaper.

<![CDATA[thebobman commented on Brian The Brain; Possibly Blam's Brain In Toy Form]]> Needs one small change: Ever instances of 'Dude','Buddy','Homie',etc need to be replaced with "Wesley". Oh, and make it so he can only talk in two intonations... and re-brand him as Mr B

<![CDATA[thebobman commented on Bird-Electron Kodak Speakers Produce Kicking Sounds For Ants]]> Holy hell, EQC! That post better be dripping in sarcasm. Then again, anybody that environmentally concerned probably lead a life devoid of electricity dependance, or at least shun technology.

<![CDATA[thebobman commented on Banana Laptop Mod; Apple Got The Wrong Fruit]]> Hey, we don't KNOW that its running Windows. It could be running Linux, or OSx86. It's still poorly executed (um, centering?) which makes me to believe that this is one of those Dells that had a silver 'Dell' button in the center of the back. The modder went too far in one direction trying to cut out the button and made it into a banana to cover it up.

I personally have cut out the silver 'Dell' button on my laptop, but I only Dremeled out the aluminum behind the button. Then I printed up a black on white logo on overhead transparency and fixed it to some black white paper (for light diffusing). Then all I had to do was use some double sided tape to stick it on the back of the LCD and replace the cover. No, I don't have pics, I sold the laptop ages ago.

Oh, and when I sold it, it was triple booting OSx86, WinXP, and Ubuntu.
