"All this Vista, XP (and now human) new themes lack just one thing (at least while using the good ol' moomex theme), the ability to handle the backgrounds on toolbars. Which means that i have to either hack this theme (does anybody know where to say to it "read the blue background from the metacity theme" in the jar file?) or hack another metacity theme (do you know one that can be easily modified?, i'm no expert at this) to look like my version of moomex (blue instead of black) or change the png's on the icon theme (seems easier, could be interesting to use this arrows instead of the "normal" ones). All in all, this looks great, congratulations!"

"Pair VLC with Hamachi to stream your videos to your VPN! Add some VNC and you can control VLC directly (there's a guide for VNC with Hamachi somewhere here at LH). There should be a "Morphix Kiosk"-esque approach (e-movix maybe?) where you could use one LiveCD to catch the streams (if you are dealing with a "normal" LAN)."
