"Fixed the maps thing as well; I had "Navizon" installed previously (a 3rd party app that essentially does the same thing as the new built-in maps feature), so I reinstalled it to see if it would work. It didn't work at first, telling me there were no cell towers in range, but then I noticed am "Invisible" toggle that was set to "On"."

"Aha! Went to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings... after it restarted, my EDGE APN was "settable". Haven't been able to get the Maps "locate me" thing to work yet, but other than that, it's smooth sailing at this point."
