The coaxial speakers are paired with a "dedicated downfiring 4” sub-woofer that is optimized for low frequency reproduction without excessive EQ or resonant ducts." I'm not going to pretend I know what all of that means, but the bass is pretty spectacular. It has the odd effect of bringing out the treble as well, though. There are bass adjust, bass frequence, treble adjust and treble frequency controls that I'll have to toy around with.
