    This was one of the best sets ever! It had a 5 spd gearbox + reverse that actually varied the speed of the V-8, and a complex suspension, flipping headlights, etc. and if I recall, the alternate model had gullwings (though that may have been something I did myself)

    Very solid, customizable design with better, sophisticated, and more numerous features than most other Technic models. *gushes love on memories of childhood legos*

    I have this one at home. I'd love to find the instructions because it's such a pity to pull it apart if I can't put it together again. Anybody got a scan?
