A friend of mine in collage got one of these bad boys to replace his other terribly expensive turntable on his uber-stereo. I heard the difference right away. We even did some head to heads against his uber-CD player. No comparison. The Delphi was head and shoulders above the CD. It is the whole, sound is analog not digital thing.

Why did you pick this one? It's handsome and cheaper than about 50 exotic turntables. Not at all outrageous.
