Here it is, the most expensive amplifier we found, the Wavac SH-833. You need two of them, and that'll cost you a cool $350,000. "This is a Hi-Fi monoblock amp which has achieved world first Class A 150W single ended. This model has the most powerful output in the world as a Class A directly heated triode single ended amplifier." www.wavac-audio.jp/sh833_e.html

Ooooh, baby. Those are some GORGEOUS tubes. Speaking of which, I remember seeing, roughly a decade ago, really cool Christmas tree ornaments made out of old tubes. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? The only reason I say this is because I find the vacuum tube to be one of the most beautiful pieces to come out of the Post-Industrial Age. Sorry if I went on for too long, but I just figured it was pertinent. Thanks.
Let me see .. Two Ferrari's, or an amplifier..
The choice is difficult, I must admit.
and when you plug your iPod into it, it'll still sound like ass.
Looks beautiful, like an art creation and should doing good job as a class A amp. Considering it really doing something and is so beautiful to look at, $350,000 isn't that bad compare to most other junks showing in this post.
