42 Unholy Variations of the New Monopoly Cat Token

42 Unholy Variations of the New Monopoly Cat Token

Last week, we offered you a chance to win Monopoly's new cat token by putting it in the most compromising, outrageous situations you could manage—and you guys came through with flying colors.

Some were clever (we see what you did there, Iron Cat), some were horrifying (Miley Mouth), and some were downright masterful (that Walking Dead Cat takes skill). But unfortunately there can only be one winner, and urinating Calvin Cat up there by Kinja user MagicPenguin combines all three to phenomenal effect. MagicPenguin, please contact me at ashleyf@gizmodo.com to claim your just, feline reward, and to the rest of you, thanks for playing and better luck next time. Here are our honorable mentions, and you can find the rest of the submissions in all their glory down below.

Photoshop Contest: Put a Monopoly Cat Token Somewhere Fun, Take It Home

After a too-long hiatus, we're happy to announce that Gizmodo's Photoshop Contest has returned. And what better occasion to inspire its revival than the brand new cat Monopoly token sitting our desk, just begging to be put in outrageous situations.

We reviewed this slap in the face to your childhood earlier in the day here, and thanks to an overwhelming demand (read: a few of you), it's yours now. What do you have to do, you ask? It's simple! We've provided several lovely photos of the feline form below, and it's up to you crop, fade, blend, and airbrush that cat into any and all the compromising and hilarious positions you can come up with. We've also provided some examples below courtesy of our own Nicholas Stango.

Standard contest rules apply. Submissions will be graded on originality, technique, and laffs; you'll have from now until this coming Tuesday, September 2 to submit your entry in Kinja down below. We'll announce the lucky winners that Wednesday, at which point the champion can claim their just rewards. Until then, happy 'shopping.
