    @SewerShark: LOOK BEHIND YOU, A THREE HEADED MONKEY!!!: It's hard to say where exactly the damage happened. It could have been outgoing at the repair facility. Or it could have been Joe-blow holiday help at UPS (which I think is more likely). Who knows. I think its reasonable to say that they didn't send it out like that though.

    From the looks of the one pic with the box, it was the shipper's fault. The box looks like it got all kinds of messed up in transit. That might be a bit messy to resolve as MS may try to make him resolve it with the shipper and the the shipper may want to blame MS.

    @Nathan Obbards: Eh, judging from my experience with such things, Microsoft will likely work things out with the shipper themselves. He might hear from one of the two parties at some point, but chances are he'll end up with a new one with little or no hassle regardless of what happens.

    @KurganG: heh, "you're wrong" would have been fine for me . I associate relatively lax male clothing standards with North Americans, the Australians and to a lesser extent the Brits, and of these I associate Americans with Gizmodo posters, so I assumed he was American.     Whereas I do like the concept, I think I would prefer to do it in real blood because they've got the color wrong. Dried blood is darker and more brown (due to oxidation).

    @OMG! Ponies!: dried blood also evaporates a bit, so it wouldn't be as effective as this is. This mod is meant to look like a bloody hand just brushed the front of your xbox, and the blood is so wet that it's dripping
