As much as I love my Netflix, I'm beginning to worry that their all-you-can-eat-for-free pricing model is hurting them against the competition. Well, maybe not Blockbuster because those guys are pretty well fucked right now and there is little that they can do about it. But other streaming video sites devices that actually charge a fee may actually be attracting more of the big-name movie companies to put their content on them because the fee structure is just like that of the traditional rental business. Content is what is going to make or break any online streaming service, and right now Netflix is not keeping up with the likes of Vudu, Apple and Amazon, even if they are beating them on service and price.
