Dell 3008WFP-HC, 30 Inches of Widescreen Swank
Dell has gone monitor-crazy lately, and adding to yesterday's rollout of its gorgeous Dell Crystal monitor, now the company's updated its 30-inch display line, and this one's called the Dell UltraSharp 3008WFP-HC. We've had one in-house here for the past month, beholding its huge expanse and basking in its 2560x1600 resolution. The main events with this display are its clean new design that looks rather plain from the front but shiny and especially luxurious from the back, and its ability to connect up to DisplayPort, the new standard for computer monitors that will make things a lot easier for such high-resolution displays.More »

Dell 30-inch UltraSharp LCD with DisplayPort Surfaces Online
Dell's New Zealand site has posted a 30-inch UltraSharp LCD that includes DisplayPort support along with the other usual suspects as far as inputs go. The 1600p behemoth is selling on the site for $2699 NZD ($2048 USD). No U.S. release info has been announced. (UPDATE: Also on the U.S. site for $2034. Thanks, DShankar )[Dell] More »

Dell 24-inch Widescreen Monitor for $399
Looking for a new monitor? Well, take a gander at this 24-inch widescreen monitor from Dell. The E248WFP features a 1920x1200 native resolution, 5ms response time, DVI with HDCP and a 92% wide color gamut for colors that pop. The best part? It's only $399, which is a total steal for a widescreen monitor of this size. You can't go wrong at that price. [Product Page]Dell's New 30-Inch 3008WFP LCD Loaded With DisplayPort, Dual DVI and HDMI
Succeeding the 3007WFP, Dell's latest 30-inch deskbuster LCD, the 3008WFP, packs the much-ballyhooed DisplayPort input with its visual-cortex-pleasing 2560x1600 resolution support and 10.8Gbps data rate. (Samsung was actually first out of the gate with its DisplayPort-sporting 30-incher back in July.)

Dell's 20-inch LCD With Built-in Webcam Available Now
That 20-inch Dell SP2008WFP LCD monitor we told you about has finally launched, complete with the 1680x1050 resolution, 2ms response speed, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The best part, besides the great display itself, is the built-in 2.0-megapixel webcam, which makes it pretty unnecessary to purchase another webcam. Unless of course you're not happy with this current webcam a couple years down the line, in which case go right ahead. And instead of the $400 we guessed, this retails for just $289. Not bad for a 20-inch with these specs. [Dell via Laptop Logic]Dell 20-inch, 1680x1050 LCD With 2-megapixel Webcam Coming Tomorrow?
HotHardware says they just got word of a new Dell SP2008WFP 20-inch monitor coming tomorrow that has 1680x1050 resolution, a built-in 2.0-megapixel webcam, 2ms response time, DVI with HDCP connectivity, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Not much else is known about this, but since the 24-inch Dell is around $600, we're guessing this will be somewhere around the $400 range, give or take a few hundred bucks. Check back tomorrow to see if this is real or just another alien autopsy. [HotHardware]
Dealzmodo: Dell 24-inch LCD, $569
The Dell 2407WFP 24-inch widescreen LCD is one of the better LCDs out there, and Dell has it currently for $569, which is $100 lower than it's regular retail price of $669. This comes loaded with a card reader, four USB ports, component, s-video. composite, VGA and DVI connections. No BS, no rebates, no coupons—this is a straight-up deal and you could even save more money if you buy a coupon off of eBay. It is sad that it was just a few years back that I paid that much a few years back for my 20-inch-wide Dell LCD that had half the connections. More »The 27-inch Dell LCD Dilemma: Why it's Brilliant...But Too Pricey Today
Despite its undeniably large dimensions, by the stats, the Dell 27-inch LCD seemed like a flop to me. It has the same exact resolution of 1920 by 1200 that many 24-inch monitors have. Laughably, it is the same price as Dell's monster 30-inch monitor. CNet, the first ones out the gate with a review, gave it a middling score. More »

Futuremark/Dell Giving Away 30-inch LCD
Wanna win a 30-inch LCD? Futuremark and Dell are sponsoring a Performance Shootout contest where the highest-ranking 3DMark scorer gets to take home Dell's 3007WFP-HC LCD. Second and third place get 27- and 24-inch screens and 5 random participants will get a GeForce 7900 GT video card (though chances are if you participate you're already using something faster). The contest ends February 10th and the current score to beat is 18,842 so if your PC has what it takes, give it a try. More »

Dell Home Media Suite Up Close: There Are Worse Ways to Blow $11K
While slightly lost in the shuffle among the uproar over its Black Ice-chilled XPS 710 H2C and sexy, aluminum-housed 27-inch 2707WFP, Dell's Home Media Suite packs a decent bit of top-notch hardware into the $11,000 bundle they showed off at CES, including the 2707WFP. The package gets you a Core 2 Duo-based XPS 410 outfitted with a TB of storage (there's room for three hard drives), Creative E-MU PM5 Precision Monitor speakers and Live! Voice webcam, dual HD AMD Wonder TV tuners, Bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard, Dell Photo All-in-one 966 printer, and a Linksys WRT350N Draft-N Gigabit router with a Powerline AV bridge for streaming HD video. Running all of this, naturally, is Vista Ultimate, so the package will launch "on or about Jan. 30," according to the Dell rep. Why buy Vista all by its lonesome when you can buy all of this for 28 times the price? More pics than you probably need after the jump. More »

Dell E228WFP: Worth the Upgrade?
I've always been a big fan of Dell's UltraSharp displays, but their forthcoming 22-incher may be worth passing on. Sure it's got a nice 1,680 x 1,050 resolution and it also comes with HDCP support, but if it's priced at $560 (which is what all signs seem to indicate) and you're strapped for cash, you may be better off with its younger brother, the $289 207WFP. Granted it's not HDCP-enabled like the E228WFP, but it's $270 cheaper and packs the same resolution and 5ms response time, albeit in a 20-inch form factor. More »

Dell Adds 27-inch LCD to Their Line Up
If BenQ's FP93G X+ proved to small for your tastes, you'll be glad to know that Dell and Samsung are working in cahoots to bring you a 27-inch LCD for the upcoming year. Samsung will be providing the monitor, which will have a 1,920x1,200 resolution along with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Dell just upgraded their 30-inch monitor not too long ago, so this 27-inch display will sit comfortably in between the 2407WFP and the 3007WFP-HC, though naturally we'd take the full 30 over 27 any day. Dell 3007WFP-HC LCD Gets Pumped For HP Showdown
Dell's XPS wasn't the only thing that got an update this morning. Their highly-coveted 30-inch monitor also got some modest, yet very welcome upgrades. The UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC now has a 92 percent color gamut, which Dell claims will deliver brighter, crisper colors. It also has a faster 8ms grey-to-grey response time (vs 11ms on the old panel), in addition to all the features found on the original panel (like a 9-in-2 card reader and 4 USB ports). The monitor goes on sale on the 21st and will set you back $1,699, putting it right up there with HP's equally-priced LP3065. The holidays are just around the corner, so I'm hoping for some nice price wars between HP and Dell before snagging one for myself. More »
