    Awesome. It would seem AMD is truly dead. That or they're hiding in the shadows and lurking.


    By the way... I thought AMD was the "cheaper" and "better" processor?

    They're lagging intel but not by a huge amount of time.

    I'm waiting for a solid release date for Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 before i build myself a new rig. by that time, 25nm 16 cores?

    @waza0: I thought Intel made it clear they won't be be working on anything less then 4 cores from now on so this comes as a surprise to me.


    *** Core i7 is a solid platform. I went i7 because didn't want to have to re-buy my motherboard for a while.
