500px, one of the best iPad apps for finding great pictures, was pulled from the App Store today because Apple is Tobias Funke never nude-levels of prudish when it comes to the naked body. Apparently, the app made it too easy to find pictures with nudity in them so it got kicked out.
Flickr has been bleeding users like a hemophiliac since around the time Google+ launched. Now, Yahoo's doing something about it. Flickr senior product lead Markus Spiering has hinted that big changes are in store for the photo-sharing site come month's end.
Flickr is a shell of what it used to be, Instagram makes everyone's pictures look the same and Picasa isn't really ideal for browsing great pictures taken by a great community. 500px, on the other hand, seems to only have great pictures. Their iPad app is an extremely elegant way to browse them.
