@b0bcat: some of our desks are already full of big LCD monitors - we just need a little "control panel" 7" monitor. Doesn't even need decent FPS (we're not trying to play Crysis on it) - just to hold some utilities, palettes, or maybe a chat window. . .
Is it really that important? It's not like you are going to IM with it using a on-screen keyboard or surf the web with the touchscreen. You just move your mouse over and do stuff on that screen. You can't do 2 things at once anyway.
@Shodan: Touchscreen version would be great for home automation wall mount and crap like that. One USB cable for video and control going back to a mini PC? Good stuff.
I wonder why tilt screen monitors aren't more popular. Back in the 1990s I had a Radius tilt monitor on my Mac Si and loved it. I'd love to be able to tilt my 19" widescreen monitor when viewing web pages. And my video card supports vertical orientation already.
