    @dave the wet sprocket: I'm actually starting a campaign to eliminate "whom" from the English language. It's a terminal "m" on an otherwise happy "who." Sorry if you can't stomach the transition. THE FUTURE IS NOW!

    @brwnmamba: A Chinese panel maker might have licensed there name to sell TV products in the US. That's what Westinghouse Digital is so it's not unthinkable but it is a speculation on my part.

    @Zefir: So, I might be ill-informed, but has anyone confirmed that Facebookers can be banned? They don't need to be enabled to comment to begin with. Maybe the same account rules that apply to us don't apply to them.

    I'd suggest the better question is: Who needs a stick-in-the-techno-mud GF?


    Or, looking at it another way, which is better?


    • An estimated one-time outlay of $20,000 for a mega-TV that will give you pleasure every day of your life.

    • An estimated lifetime outlay of $250,000 for a GF that will give you pleasure, if you're lucky, once a week.
