Kids are practically born wired in now, and its not a bad thing. There is so much information available to them on line and through cable tv that we didnt have. I had my daughter on my lap and on line at 9 months old and she is a rabid Mythbusters and TimeWarp fan. (She also just tested in the top 5% in the country in Science, so SOMETHING is working).

I don't consider someone a genius/protegy unless they excel in at least 3 categories, one being a fine art, one a math or science, and one a geography or history.

I think those are the official guidelines for a genius! In fact, I'm coining them as the guidelines.
