Until they make a way for the remote to know what is already turned on in the system they are useless. First time, no problem, turns on the tv, sound system, and cable box. Well now I want to watch a dvd, so I hit the "watch dvd" button, off goes the tv, sound system, but the dvd player turns on! Useless...

@Barry99705: You haven't got your remote set up correctly. Go back into the software and setup your DVD player again. Only items not in use should turn off.

@Barry99705: That means you didn't set up the process correctly. Logitechs will know which you need for what activity and keep those on.

@Barry99705: I was just logging in to say your activity wasn't setup correctly. First time after a program though you want everything off, then whatever it turns on it remembers that it had turned it on. Love my harmony 520 and 880

@Barry99705: mine doesn't do that. I think you need to tweek your settings.
... and I now see that several people beat me to letting you in on this.

I have the white xbox 360 harmony remote. it took me a good hour or 2 to set it up properly, but once I figured out how the set up works I have never had any problems with it. I LOVE it!

@Barry99705: You've obviously never used one of these remotes.
It DOES keep track of what's on and off. If you hit Watch TV, yes it would turn on the TV, AV receiver and cable box and set them to the correct inputs. Then if you hit Activities -> Watch DVD, it would turn off ONLY the cable box and turn on the DVD player and switch all of the inputs accordingly. Then when you hit Off it turns off everything that is on.
Don't bash a product unless you've personally used it. I have the Harmony One and absolutely love it. Worth every single penny.

    @Barry99705:
The one thing that I didn't see anyone mention is that you have to use the remote to turn on/off everything, if you use a button on the tv, dvd player, etc. there is no way for the remote to know that and it will get screwed up.

Any chance that the newer Logitech Harmony remotes have less-dodgy buttons? My 3 year old Harmony is garbage, not because of the intuitive setup or customization, but because it's all lost on tiny buttons that won't react when you push them. Awful.

What's so special about the dock, my 880 came with a dock for $270 cheaper.

@Hardcore1: I think they're just saying that as opposed to the other Hamonys without docks. That said, I don't need the RF capability (and won't be able to afford a house that would require it for many years to come), so I'm all about picking up a cheap-style 880 when they start clearing the last of them. I've used a 600 series for four years and can't live without it.

Wow, I thought all Harmony's came with docks, you mean people pay $100+ for remotes with no docks? How are they charged - the remote has to be plugged into a wall socket?

I appreciate new tech with new features but I've always been shocked by the price of these new remotes. To me, $50 is pushing it on a remote but to go over $100....is it really necessary?

The RF/IR adapter sounds nice, but not enough of an upgrade to make me want to step up from my current Harmony One.

I am SO happy to see so many people have discovered the Dingoo A320.
I have two of the things (white and black) and they're great.

    Settle for nothing less.

You would DEFINITELY want the Dingoo over this, as the Dingoo also plays Neo Geo and CPS1/2 (aka Capcom arcade roms, e.g. Street Fighter II), and is smaller than a DS form-factor wise. Why the heck would you want imitate the bulk that is the PSP form factor? Without a UMD drive clogging it up that thing should be insanely thinner than the real PSP.
