    Mostly I'm waiting for Light of Other Days to come to pass.


    But is this picture any different than what people do sitting at home in a trailer park watching Maury or Springer surrounded by filth? Or people who do nothing but play a video game while their world falls apart around them?


    For all we know, the room is a reflection of what is in the person's head, and the glasses are a form of therapy to adjust their world view back to a healthier one?

    @Lite: split a beer atom.: Either way there will always be a subset of people who abuse something. It doesn't matter if it's drugs, trust, food, a game, or anything else one can use to escape reality.

    Eventually I imagine electricity will be considered a basic human right in the US. Like Social Security and the current ideas surrounding universal healthcare.

    @macabron: Hopefully a comfy bed won't make a difference. The physical realm should have no effect on the game experience. I'm disappointed in your lack of commitment, through concern with your physical self, to what will be ultimately better than reality, the next plain. Don't fear bed sores, they don't exist here.
