@Moonshadow101: Yes, I abso-freakin-lutely do. Crazy kids today with their 3D glasses, and their slightly-more-realistic sense of depth perception. Why, when I was coming up, we had 2D screens that merely used clever camera tricks, visual sleight of hand, and computer simulations of 3D environments to give the convincingly accurate illusion of depth AND WE LIKED IT.
@Covertghost: Honestly! Could there have been a worse push for 3D? I mean "My Bloody Valentine" already reeks of crappy movie. But "in 3D!!!?". That's just god-awful.
Not to mention Beowulf. In 3D. I seriously thought that was a joke.
@OCEntertainment: They charge $3 extra for 3D movie showings here! I guess it's because $10 for a standard ticket just isn't enough to cover the shitty glasses they give you.
Short version: CEO of Dreamworks Animation says folks should be charging even *more* for 3D movies. Because apparently, people are willing to pay out the wazoo for crappy peripherals and nauseating effects (also known as Star Wars Syndrome).
$3 extra sounds about right. But if Krapzenburg has his way, they'll raise the price even more, just because they can.
I don't foresee this working well at all for any content that wasn't designed to be presented in 3D in the first place. My guess is that everything will just look askew and weird.

I remember having to write Perl scripts up hill in the snow, both ways.
Now get off of my lawn!

It isn't 1978 anymore...
I blame that stupid My Bloody Valentine.

The future, ladies and gentlemen!
