    i always thought those aircraft schools on tv were full of crap. now i know better and will be signing up as soon as possible.

    My private fantasy, of course, is to land the plane after the pilot dies (I have a 707 type rating, though, so that's cheating.) Pilots can be older now, so I'm hoping someday...

    @pdok: I think I remember seeing on Mythbusters that autopilot has advanced enough that the plane can land on its own, even if both the pilot and co-pilot are incapacitated by a bad in-flight meal.
