    Disco SteveDave needs a DiscoKeyboard.

But really, unless the colors shift and move, I don't think I would like having a rainbow on my keyboard.

Neil Patrick Harris saw a Unicorn once.

For real - I saw it in a movie. It was a documentary I think. Something about Gitmo...

$1800 seems very reasonable for the power under the hood. The specs are truly impressive.

@PhiCancri: I *think* the $1800 is the base price, which probably doesn't include the dual 1GB video, or the 8GB of DDR3, or the 512GB SSD...

I'd be surprised if it could be had for under $3000 with the specs mentioned in the article.

Then again I have been surprised before. Once.

@dsh: Good point. At second glance (along with waking up; it is early) the specs listed at $1800 would be a steal.

Looks like the answer to a question noone asked. Like "how much stuff can we cram into a massive laptop that weighs 20 lbs". Do people buy these things?

@adhir: This is more a desktop replacement machine, and yes, people do buy these things. If I was interested in a gaming machine, but didn't want all of that cable clutter jazz, I'd certainly look at something like this.
