Averatec Makes iMac-Like All-In-One PC For $1249

Averatec's joining the XPS One and HP Touchsmart IQ506—among others—in the all-in-one PC game. What's notable about Averatec's beside its super generic "All-In-One PC" name? It's cheap. At just $1249, you get a 2.4GHz Intel E4600 Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, nVidia GeForce 8400, a 22-inch screen and a copy of Vista Home Premium. It's not a performance monster, but it is a fairly affordable all-in-one for the space conscious. On the other hand, [PRNewswire via Digital Trends]

Asus Eee Monitor

First Quality Pictures of the Asus Eee All-In-One Monitor

We got a blurry look at the upcoming all-in-one version of the Asus Eee PC Monitor back in early June, but these new images over at Laptop Mag provide our first real glimpse at what users can expect. Outside of what we already know, the images reveal that the Monitor will feature 4 USB ports, an Ethernet port, modem, audio ports for a mic and 2 audio outs. There will also be white and black versions. No further information has been released, so we still expect it to be released in 19 and 21-inch versions with a TV tuner for around $500. Check the full gallery at the source. [Laptop Mag]

Proview All-in-One PC is iMac-esque, with Pen-Writing Screen

Several all-in-one desktop PCs seem to have taken design inspiration from the iMac recently, but Proview's upcoming VD1-26W has the added feature of a pen-sensitive screen for freehand writing, drawing and, presumably, mousing. It's no HP Touchsmart, but is pretty slimline, with connections and ports pushed into a small box on its rear, and has a 26-inch screen with 1000:1 contrast and glass protective shield. There's little more info, other than it does both VGA signal input and output and has its own wireless pen, so you'll have to watch this space for both price and availability. [Aving]

First Pic of Asus Eee All-In-One, New Eee Coming

The image is kind of blurry, but I have to admit that the upcoming $500 Eee Monitor—Asus' all-in-one PC that will be available with 19- and 21-inch displays—looks simple, elegant, and rather pretty. Mark says that they are clearly following Apple and Nintendo's—who follows the first—designs, and that's not a bad thing. I agree, even when the iPod-look will eventually become the new beige. Asus has also announced two new products for September and December—named "Eee S1" and "Eee K1"—although nobody knows what they would be. But has this ever been a problem for our animal guts-reading powers? Thor says NO! More »

Earth Trek Phone Stand is USB Hub, Card Reader Too

Sure, this all-in-one from Earth Trek is no good-looking gadget stand like the iClooly, but it'd be hard to beat it for convenience. You can use it to prop up your cellphone (though how does it stick on? ... magic? love? glue?) and also charge it through a range of swappable connectors. It's also a three-way USB hub, and you can even jam in a range of memory cards from microSD to MemoryStick Pro Duo. Looks like the perfect thing to fling in your laptop bag when you're off on a trip. It's available in black or white, but there's no info on price. [Akihabaranews]

Color Laser Printer CLP-315K is World's Smallest, Says Samsung

20% smaller than the previous generation, Samsung is claiming their new CLP-315K is actually the World's smallest color laser printer. It's got a resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi and can spit out four letter-sized pages per minute in color and 17 in black, and apparently it has improved photo quality output. There's also another small all-in-one edition, the CLX-3175FNK, which has a scanner built in and can scan to and print from USB memory sticks so it can operate PC-free if you need it to. There's no word on release date or price yet, sorry. [Akihabaranews]

TG Sambo's LLuon, Another iMac-Styled PC to Hit US

Just the other day we were showing you the very iMac-esque Fujitsu all-in-one desktop PC, and now there's news that TG Sambo are making their own similar machine dubbed Lluon. It's got a built-in 22-inch screen and right-mounted DVD-drive, and the usual array of ports and sockets shared between the rear and side. It looks a little fatter than an iMac, though we've got no real details other than the photos to go from. Available at first in Korea, it's going to be released in the US through Best Buy. [AVING]

Touch Interactive DVD Player Looks Like the Lamp iMacs

Apple may have strayed away from design that looks like a table lamp, but Touch Interactive is having none of that. Their Hybrid DVD Player and Display unit has the same weiner tip base as the old iMac, but instead of a levered arm attached to the display, this goes straight up and out. We may not have much use for an all-in-one DVD player unit around our houses, but dentist's offices, rich people's kitchens and sperm banks have much different needs than we do. Cybernet ZPC-GX31, a PC in a Keyboard-Sized Case

Ok, we understand that a small form-factor PC like Cybernet's ZPC GX31 would really suit some user's needs: on a cramped shop counter-top perhaps. We even kinda admire that this gizmo squeezes in a full PC (up to Core 2 Quad CPU, Intel graphics, optical drive, HDD, up to 4GB RAM) and standard I/O ports into a "zero footprint" box that's like a chunky keyboard. Hell, it even has a touchpad and memory card slots. But we wonder: surely the world has moved on from Commodore 64-like design? Yuck, yuckity yuck. If it actually floats your boat, it's fully customizable and costs from $699 to $1099. [Cybernetman via Chipchick]

Miu HDPC Does Linux and Windows in All-in-One Package

Yes, you will have seen slimmer UMPCs, but probably not one quite so feature-packed as the new Miu Hybrid Dual PC. The Dual bit comes from its dual-boot options of XP plus WinCE 5.0 or linux Qplus. It earns its Hybrid label by being a cellphone, navigation device, PMP, electronic dictionary, internet phone, voice recorder, games machine, mobile IPTV device and digital camera. We reckon that list of functions at least partly excuses its 0.96-inch depth. More details after the gallery. More »

Lumenlab Q42 HDTV and PC Chimera Now Shipping

Honestly, I still don't get the appeal of this thing: It's a computer crammed inside of an HDTV. Woohoo. But Lumenlab's Q42 is now priced and shipping for those interested in the hot hybrid action: $3850, which isn't stroke-inducing, but definitely more than buying each separately. But hey, it's handmade. [Lumenlab via Crave]

Vizio VP501 1080p All-In-One Plasma 5.1 Home Theater Has Wireless Sub and Rear Speakers

Among Vizio's hammer-blow of a CES lineup is an upgrade to the plasma all-in-one 5.1 home theater it introduced last year. In this refresh, the front left, right and center speakers are integrated into the TV itself, while the two rear speakers are tied to the subwoofer. The front talks to the rear wirelessly via 2.4GHz, so there's no wiring in your face, and minimal wiring at your back. The VP500 is a 50" 720p screen, and will sell for $1,800; the cooler 1080p VP501 is not yet priced. Sad that you already bought a Vizio SV42LF or SV47LF? Turns out, you can add the Jive SV5.1 wireless-sub Enhancement Kit for $299. More »

DIY All-In-One PC Beautiful on the Inside

It's hideous. But it's necessary that the DIY crowd has access to an all-in-one case. The Ion V2000 has a 19-inch LCD display, limiting 350-watt power supply, slim-profile optical drive bay, a media reader, two USB ports, a firewire port, and audio ins and outs. [RedFerret]

Lumenlab Q42, the Hybrid HDTV and PC

Lumenlab thinks it's come up with the solution for that computer/TV set conundrum playing itself out on home theaters across the globe with the Q42, a 42-inch 1080p flat panel with a PC hidden inside. At just 3 inches deep, the all-in-one unit's PC has a terabyte of hard disk storage, 2GB of RAM and an Intel Core Duo processor. More »

Xtreme's 22-inch XN1 All-in-One Desktop

The all-in-one desktop model seems to be the consumer honey pot these days, what with both the iMac and the Gateway One (among others) satisfying user's unification needs with one shiny, slick package. This Xtreme XN1, from notebook maker Xtreme, seems to follow along the same lines with a fairly decent spec sheet and a large-sized monitor. Basic versions have a 19-inch display and a 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo, but you can pimp it all the way up with 1TB RAID, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, 22-inch display, GeForce Go 7600, 2.93 GHz Core 2 Extreme, HD DVD drive and Dual Digital TV Tuners. Price starts at $1489 for the 19-inch and $1599 for the 22-inch. [Xtreme Notebooks via Crave]

Gateway One All-In-One PC Revealed

Gateway's been acting all mysterious about its upcoming one-piece PC, and now the cow's out of the bag (with no spots anywhere in sight), revealing the Gateway One, a 19-inch all-in-one desktop box that's just 3.6 inches deep. The long-chinned PC will be available in three models, two of them retail versions and one available only online, and all of them carrying mildly respectable specs. More »

According to the site's timer, the news will actually pop at 6:45 a.m. EST, so set that alarm clock. Will this be Gateway's much-needed breakthrough? And more importantly, will it have cow spots?
