    VOD is great for those times when you want to find something to watch and don't want to go out. However, the quality is still seriously lacking, at least on my 60" set. Anything I care about watching I will continue to rent or buy on BD.

    Wait, that article says PS3 supports Hulu which it does not (without 3rd party apps like PlayOn or TVersity).


    Is that a major scoop or poor fact checking. Sony didn't drop any bombshells like that at their E3 conference today.

    @noamjamski: PS3 gets Hulu via PlayOn. A software package that encodes and streams Internet video from PC to the DLNA-capable gaming platform.

    Amazon is really making the move to pure-digital retailing quite nicely. I think there are some challenges ahead, since they have yet to achieve that destination-site status, and without hardware to drive sales (like Apple has) they're going to have an uphill battle. But at least they're making a go of it, and seem to be doing well with the music and books, even if they're not quite there yet with videos and (now) games.

    Okay, so I watched the Amazon preview, and it's official, Mac zealots are not only idiots, but need to be taken out back and shot. The scene with the chick talking about her sex life was by far the dumbest thing I have ever seen.


    "I have never slept with a Windows user."


    Then she goes on and describes what sex with a Windows user is like. How do you know what it is like to sleep with a Windows user if you just proclaimed you never slept with one. Also, if your sexual preference is based on the computer your sexual partner is using, here's my opinion...YOU SHOULDN'T BE HAVING SEX!!! Um, I hope someone kicks her in the ovaries so she doesn't reproduce, and further tainting the human gene pool

    @God: All zealots and fanatics should be put down. Just because there is a movie about the Mac ones, doesn't mean there aren't plenty or Windows or BeOS freaks out there as well. It's all relative, and Windows has such a bigger market share.


    I'm just glad there isn't a movie about the WoW freaks.
